Ballad of Broken Seas - CD Review
Sounds like: Tom Waits meets Neko Case.
Neither name is household, but you might know who Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan have worked for in the past.
Campbell is a former singer with Belle & Sebastian and Lanegan has been with the Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age.
On paper, they are not a good mix, on the new album Ballad of the Broken Seas, they are a haunting combination.
