Plot: Alan Johnson (Don Cheadle) runs into his old college roommate Charlie (Adam Sandler). Charlie had lost his entire family in the September 11 attack on New York. Alan attempts to help Charlie as both men seem to have issues they are trying to resolve.

There hasn't been a film that has come out so far this year I have been more eager to see than this one. After reading your review it is my utter admittance that this thirst has blown over. I respect your honesty in the actor/character examinations and value yoru cut & dry approach to referencing The Fisher King (one of my faves...) as the standard to which this new film could not reach.
As a formerly casual reader of your cinematic evaluations (movie reviews, in laymans...) I now proudly express my interest in reading more if not all of your articles. Mr. Schwister you can get more across in sharp, witty and utterly unique phrases that essentially become inside jokes only your more prolific readers are let in on... than most "critics" who usually follow something along the lines of a "five paragraph theme" we all learned and latter shit on as we realized a template doesn't write the story...
