Scorecard review: ‘I Think I Love My Wife’
Plot: Richard (Chris Rock) is a married, family man frustrated by the same old thing. Normally, he just fantasizes about other women, but now an old friend’s ex-girlfriend has come into the picture to complicate things.
Who’s it for: Rock has said this is a more adult role for him. In this case, “adult” clearly means jokes about racism, marriage, sex and infidelity — not that he can’t make that work. You don’t have to be in a long-term relationship to enjoy this movie, but to fully appreciate it, six months better not be your longest time with someone.
